Dear Friend,
Isn't it funny how little things always seem to pop up right after you've spent your last dime? For me it was a last minute bridal shower. I didn't have much time... I didn't have any money... but, I had to be there.
If you've ever been in this situation before then you know how embarrassing it can turn out to be. It's easy to play out the different scenario's in your head:
1) You could borrow the money to buy a gift... but, how embarrassing to have to ask! (And, hope they don't tell.)

(I can just see it now... Vicky will ask, "Oh, I noticed you didn't bring a gift? Is money too tight this week?" and she'll make sure she says it loud enough that the whole room will hear. Vicky, of course, is that one person who always has money to spend.)
3) You could stay home... but, then you'll have several people wanting to know why you weren't there!

I could have called them Free gift baskets, or Free to Create gift baskets, but to be perfectly honest, I got the idea from the TV show FreeStyle.
I had been watching the show prior to getting the phone invitation and, since I didn't have any money to spend, I figured, "Why not?"
If you're not familiar with the show, then let me tell you this little bit...
FreeStyle is a home improvement/home decorating type show, hosted by Aaron Foster, that doesn't use a budget. None... Nada... Nothing! That's what makes it completely different from all the others. They use items that are already there at the home.
